Inspring Flow conference starting next week
The biggest conference dedicated to the new family members of the TYPO3 project, Neos and Flow, is taking place next week.
TYPO3 CMS Code sprint "Extension" 4th to 7th April 2013 in Wiesbaden
During 4th to 7th April another code sprint happened with a group of people taking care of the "extension" topic for the TYPO3 CMS core. This time AOE Media in Wiesbaden was our hoster and provided everything we needed to keep us busy on coding stuff. Special thanks goes to Tolleiv Nietsch and Steffen Ritter for the organization of this Code Sprint.
TYPO3 accepted for Google Summer of Code 2013
I’m happy to announce that TYPO3 has been accepted as a mentoring organization in Google Summer of Code 2013. This is the 4th year we participate. Congrats to all accepted organizations, and a big thanks to everyone who helped to make this happen for TYPO3!
TYPO3 CMS 6.1.0 Beta 1 released
After a long weekend for a lot of contributors and some cool improvements the TYPO3 world has one more TYPO3 release - CMS 6.1 Beta 1. The feature freeze for the upcoming version has now been reached.
TYPO3 Developer Days 2013 in Hamburg (T3DD13) - Ticket sale starts!
The eighth edition of the TYPO3 Developer Days will take place from July 4 - 7, 2013 at ELBCAMPUS, Hamburg, Germany. Ticket sale starts tomorrow April 2 at 12pm.
TYPO3 Community February 2013
In the month of February the infamous TYPO3 Snowboard Tour took place in Zell am See, the Neos core team met in Lübeck for a code-sprint and planning the next steps towards the 1.0 release of Neos. The first code sprint of this year was done by the extbase team and the online election for the Expert Advisory Board and the Business Control Committee was approved.
Coding for a better 6.1 in Bochum - FAL Code Sprint
Last Thursday to sunday, the community had two code sprints - one was about the typo3.org website, and one was centered around the current implementation of the File Abstraction Layer (short: FAL), shipped with TYPO3 CMS 6.0, set in Bochum, Germany.
