Marketing Sprint 2013: Communication Workshop

The TYPO3 Marketing sprint started last Monday with a two day communication workshop, attended by around 16 people. The workshop was organised to gain a better understanding of communication in an Open Source community and to find ways of improving that communication.

TYPO3Camp Rhein-Ruhr 2013

A weekend in the Unperfekthaus in Essen with a whole bunch of happy geeks: the second TYPO3Camp Rhein-Ruhr was attended by over 125 people, from developers to project managers to backend users. Slot-car racing at Gapp's Event-Location provided great food and a lot of excitement with the official tournament as a warm-up event Friday evening.

This week's TYPO3 story is brought to you from the Eastern European TYPO3 conference, T3EE, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The much-anticipated TYPO3 Neos 1.0 beta 1 was released on November 12. A little report on T3EE and an interview with Daniel Homorodean, main driving force of T3EE.

In week 43 we talked about the silence before the storm. After the TYPO3 conference there is a silence after the storm with everyone concentrating on their work again. The conference was very successful with all enthusiasm about the latest developments in the TYPO3 project. 'This Week in TYPO3' comes to you from the TYPO3camp Rhein Ruhr in Essen, the last TYPO3camp this year. We have a new platinum member of the TYPO3 Association, some team news and the TYPO3 Association is looking for an executive secretary.

T3CON13DE in Stuttgart a huge success

This year’s TYPO3 conference T3CON13DE in Stuttgart had been reinvented and was very well organized with a main subject for each day – Community, Future and Business – and four tracks on each day covering a variety of topics such as non-tech, tech, TYPO3, business and cases. Thus in total the participants had approximately 70 great talks from experienced professionals and thought leaders to choose from.
