Discover TYPO3’s biggest milestones of 2025—from the TYPO3.com relaunch to global events, new partnerships, v14.0, and a look ahead at what’s coming in 2026.

2025 is coming to an end and it’s only fitting that we take a look back at all we’ve accomplished over the past 12 months. For the last few years, TYPO3 has been busier than ever. We’ve been traveling to new places, testing various formats and connecting with people both within and outside of the ecosystem. And this is just the beginning.

As we look back on 2025, we’ll highlight the milestones, things we’ve achieved as a community and acknowledge the people who made this possible. We’ll even take a peek into 2026 to give you a preview of what’s to come.

Strengthening the TYPO3 Brand & Ecosystem

The TYPO3 Relaunch

The long-awaited TYPO3.com relaunch went live on the first day of T3CON25. This relaunch was a labor of love across all teams within the TYPO3 Company to ensure the new website reflected a modern, user-friendly hub for all things TYPO3.

TYPO3 Pulse

At the start of 2025, TYPO3 Pulse was born—a dedicated newsletter to our dear TYPO3 community (and beyond) with educational offerings and exclusive content. The newsletter was developed for those who are interested in quarterly updates related to TYPO3, open source, etc. In our editions so far, we’ve focused on themes such as accessibility, editor’s resources and performance insights.

Expanding Community & Partnerships

TYPO3 Partner Program

The TYPO3 partner program was launched in 2024 and has seen steady growth since its inception. Our partner management team has spent the year traveling to various events, paying our partner agencies regular visits and working towards bringing new partners onboard.

As a result of the partner program, many case studies have been produced, showcasing TYPO3 across various industry verticals. This initiative has increased visibility for TYPO3 and served as a showcase for projects that exemplify its versatility and reliability.

At the end of 2025, we’re proud to have expanded our network to 60 TYPO3 partners—a clear indicator of the program’s momentum and value.

TYPO3 Around the World: Events & Community Engagement

Community events remain a cornerstone of TYPO3’s identity. Whether through highly technical meet-ups or large-scale conferences, TYPO3 is committed to maintaining a strong, visible, and meaningful presence across the industry. In 2025, our team traveled widely and represented TYPO3 at an impressive range of engagements—from major trade conferences to flagship TYPO3 events, community-driven camps, and beyond. Let’s revisit some of the highlights from our 2025 events schedule.

TYPO3 SurfCamp: Empowering the Next Generation

Back again in its second year, the TYPO3 Surf Camp took place in Fuertaventura, bringing together young professionals for a week of coding and fun. This annual event demonstrates the commitment towards mentorship and providing opportunities for the next generation of TYPO3. The surf camp will take place again in 2026! Watch our recap video here and if interested, apply for a spot!

TYPO3 Developer Days 2025

The TYPO3 Developer Days met in Karlsruhe for the annual event where developers from all over gather to learn, network and gain valuable insights from the community. This signature event serves as one of the signature events hosted by the TYPO3 company.

TYPO3 Camp London - The first TYPO3 Camp in the UK

If you’re following along, it’s no secret that TYPO3 is growing and in this case, beyond borders. For the first time, a TYPO3 camp was hosted in the UK, serving as a third offering of the international camp with English as the primary camp language. The community gathered from all over to meet in Central London for a day of talks, networking and of course, TYPO3.

TYPO3 Camp London camp signals TYPO3’s dedication to growth and its relevance in various market landscapes.

T3CON25 & the TYPO3 Awards

The TYPO3 conference reconvened in Düsseldorf with the theme of Shaping the Future of Content Management. The format of the conference was changed this year to feature different themed days and a new conference hall layout to support a networking-friendly space. This year, a community day was implemented with record breaking attendance numbers of 400+ attendees, followed by two days of focused talks, social events followed by the prestigious TYPO3 awards.

Thank you

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone whose dedication makes TYPO3 events and initiatives possible. From the teams shaping the technical foundation and continuously developing the product, to those working on content, design, coordination, and logistics in the background, each contribution plays a vital role in bringing these experiences to life.

This includes the many community members who invest their time and energy in organizing TYPO3 Camps, as well as all those involved in planning, supporting, and delivering our conferences, meet-ups, and educational formats throughout the year.

These efforts often happen behind the scenes, but they are essential to TYPO3’s success. We are truly grateful to everyone who helped make 2025 a strong and collaborative year for the project.

Innovation and Educational Content

A main goal for this year was diversifying content offerings and in this case, video. With the release of v13 LTS, a dedicated video series was created specifically with editors in mind. The TYPO3 Editors Guide is a series designed to enable editors to understand and navigate TYPO3 with confidence and ease. Creating these community focused resources and content was a key pillar of this year's communication strategy.

Next year, we will continue to produce video content, tackling topics across the TYPO3 ecosystem, including first looks into TYPO3 v14. Watch the first video in the series here

TYPO3 Product Evolution

TYPO3 v14.0 Release

The latest version of TYPO3 version 14.0 was released at T3CON25. In a standing-room only first-look, the TYPO3 community was introduced to the newest features and a revamped backend. Benni Mack, TYPO3 Core Team Lead, gave attendees a glimpse of what’s to come in the newest version and highlighted the changes.

The motto for this release was coined, “We’re just getting started” and indeed, we are. With over 2,000 improvements, a cleaner navigation, a modernized DocHeader, and a guided translation workflow, exciting things are on the horizon thanks to TYPO3 v14.

Looking to 2026

As for what’s next? We’re already looking forward to a productive year, continuing to ride the momentum we’ve created. With a packed event calendar, including an appearance at WeAreDevelopers in the U.S., TYPO3 is ready for 2026 and what comes next.

A big thank you to everyone in the community for their support and contributions to TYPO3. We’re looking forward to another year of firsts, highlights and celebrations with you.
