TYPO3 CMS Agenda: More long-term support
In a year from now, TYPO3 4.5 LTS was originally planned to reach end of life. The TYPO3 Core Team is pleased to announce the schedule for the upcoming TYPO3 releases including the next release with Long Term Support (LTS). Additionally, the lifetime of TYPO3 4.5 LTS will be extended.
TYPO3 CMS 6.1 Alpha 1 released
The first and only alpha version of TYPO3 CMS 6.1 has been released today. The final release is scheduled for late April 2013.
TYPO3camp Venlo
It was the first TYPO3camp this year and the first TYPO3camp in the Netherlands, ever, taking place this weekend in Venlo. Close to the German and Belgian border it brought a lot of attendants from both countries. Besides that the Romanian presence really gave the event, with 86 attendants, an international feel.

Moin, Moin: The TYPO3 Developer Days 2013 are going to be in Hamburg!
Later than usual we announce the TYPO3 Developer Days for this year. Fetch your calendars as they will be held from July 4th to July 7th in Hamburg. The concept for the TYPO3 Developer Days is going towards tutorials in combination with workshops and we are looking forward to “get things done”.
TYPO3 CMS Code Sprints for 6.1
The final dates are set to go forward with some hard-core-coding for the next TYPO3 CMS Release: The upcoming code sprints for TYPO3 6.1.
TYPO3 Community January 2013
At the beginning of 2013 the Expert Advisory Board decided about the budget and gave an explanation about the allocation of the budgets for 2013. The budget allocation for the Neos project was re-discussed after initially being rejected by the team. A solution was found by allocating budget to work-packages that will drive the development of TYPO3 Neos.
