Neos and Flow team waive TYPO3 Association budget
About a week ago we were briefed by the TYPO3 Association's EAB on the 2013 budget for the Neos and Flow project. The budget was reduced by 50% compared to the original application. Although this decision is a sharp break per se, the more difficult implications arise from the conditions and expectations which are bound to the allowed funds.

TYPO3 Usergroup Romania Meetup 2012
TYPO3 Usergroup Romania Meetup 2012, was a great success with 50 developers participating from all over Romania on December 8-9. The meeting was held in Cluj-Napoca, which is the second most populous city in Romania.

TYPO3 Community November - December 2012
At the end of the year the focus on customer projects is usually high and community activity traditionally a little lower. Activity on Flow and Neos slowed down at the end of 2012, but a major new version of TYPO3 CMS was released at the end of November. There were quite some code sprints, a TYPO3camp and a few other TYPO3 related events. The budget discussions were quite prevalent these last two months and a number of positions in the TYPO3 Association came up for re-election.

TYPO3 Neos and Flow - December 2012
The review day we had planned for beginning of December was undermined by server issues and not being able to log in to Forge and Gerrit - still, TYPO3 Neos 1.0 alpha 2 and Flow 2.0 beta 1 were released before Christmas. We hope you enjoyed the presents!
The Marketing Team in 2012
The marketing team has stepped up activity in 2012 and has regular online meetings and 2 or 3 live meetings a year. The main achievement of this year was the relaunch of typo3.org on april 2nd of this year.
