Agile Phoenix
How Scrum drives project management of TYPO3 version 5. Since the new PHP-Framework FLOW3 that forms the basis for the upcoming TYPO3, is sufficiently stable, the TYPO3-team concentrates more on the development of TYPO3 5, code name Phoenix since the beginning of this year. On March 21st 2010 the TYPO3-Phoenix team's decided to plan and develop the new TYPO3 version more agile with the help of the Scrum principle. This article looks at Scrum and shows how the team works with it.

Extbase/Fluid Book in English
Jochen Rau and Sebastian Kurfürst intend to publish an English version of the book "Zukunftssichere TYPO3-Extensions mit Extbase und Fluid" (Future proof TYPO3-extensions with Extbase and Fluid) for free, using a "CreativeCommons Attribution Non-Commercial Share Alike" license.
TYPO3 4.5beta1 released
Tonight the TYPO3 community released the first beta version of TYPO3 4.5.
