These Months in TYPO3 (September and October)

September started with the TYPO3camp Munich followed by the Active Contributor Meeting of the TYPO3 CMS team. In the second half of September there was the user experience week in the Harz. The 10th TYPO3 conference took place in Berlin from October 8 - 10. This month ended with the Dutch TYPO3 congress on Tuesday October 28 and I am writing all this from TYPO3 Eastern Europe an international TYPO3 event in the heart of Transylvania. Great to be here for halloween.

Start of the User eXperience Week

The user experience week 2014 is about usability of the backend, themes and distributions. Some 30 participants work for one week in a remote location in the heart of Germany on these topics.

This Month in TYPO3 (August, 2014)

Most of us are back from holidays re-energised after relaxing on the Spanish beaches, tasting cheese and wine in the heart of France or enjoying the surroundings of your own house or country. Not everyone was holidaying however and quite a lot happened during August with Agency Meetup Days, marketing and buzz around TYPO3 CMS.

TYPO3 at Travel Expo Cologne

The TYPO3 Association will be present with a booth at the Travel Expo in Cologne from September 23 - 24. Travel Expo is the most important tourism trade fair in Germany.

We said it last time and we will say it again. It is hot and half of you are holidaying with friends and family. Yours truly churns a final weekly overview, before heading towards TYPOfree time. In this issue community contributions were coming in from the internetz. Last weekend saw two sprints, T3O has BIG plans and the T3A wants your budget application!

This Week in TYPO3 (Week 28, 2014)

The temperatures are soaring and the holidays have started for some and will start for others soon. Development wise not to much happened, but we do have a section on flexible content elements, a walkthrough tool and some more snippets here and there that will get your attention.
