TYPO3 13.4.28 and 12.4.45 maintenance releases published

The versions 13.4.28 and 12.4.45 of the TYPO3 Enterprise Content Management System have just been released.

The following TYPO3 updates have been released:

TYPO3 13.4.28 LTS
TYPO3 12.4.45 LTS

All versions are maintenance releases only.

TYPO3 v12 and v13 entering new support phases

TYPO3 v12.4.45 is expected to be the last public release of TYPO3 v12 before the branch enters the ELTS (Extended Long-Term Support) phase on April 30, 2026. From that date onward, continued support for v12 will be available as a commercial service.

At the same time, TYPO3 v13 will transition to the priority bugfixes phase, meaning it will only receive security and compatibility fixes going forward.

Further upgrade instructions

No further database upgrades are required for these maintenance releases.

TYPO3 can be installed in various ways. For example the traditional way by using the source package at get.typo3.org or the modern way by setting up a project using composer, to name just two. Further details can be found in the according release notes:
