This Week in TYPO3 (2016, Week 49)

A wide range of companies have been contributing in various ways to the TYPO3 project in the past and are still contributing as is common for open source projects. Our whole infrastructure for instance would never have been possible were it not for these contributions. Once in awhile there is a company that goes the extra mile. In This Week we highlight 3 projects that are pretty meaningful to the community. We have a look at maintenance of one of the very first TYPO3 extensions. In the last blog post we described how our infrastructure and setup works and what we wanted to achieve with it. Now you can experience it yourself! We just opened our infrastructure to allow public contributions - for example to the blog extension - and here is how it works.

This Week in TYPO3: T3CON16

On October 26 and 27, the 12th European TYPO3 conference took place in Munich, Germany. For the second time the conference was accompanied by the TYPO3 Award ceremony, celebrating and awarding the most outstanding TYPO3 projects of agencies and customers in 2015 / 2016 on the closing night.
