The Documentation Team wants to make TYPO3 accessible for everyone, from beginners to experts. Daniel Siepmann gave an interview and answered questions around current tasks and future plans of the team. Additionally he gave tips to the TYPO3 community.

The TYPO3 Extbase Book—Interview with the Author
Michael Schams has been an active member of the TYPO3 Community for more than a decade now. In May 2019 he published the third edition of the TYPO3 Extbase book. Michael worked with Patrick Lobacher on previous editions of the book, but since Patrick moved on to new challenges, Michael took over full responsibility in 2018 and published a fully revised and updated edition this year. Luisa Faßbender held an interview with Michael to find out more about the book and how it was created.

The TYPO3 Documentation Team accepted Claus Due’s invitation to his TYPO3 Fluid 3.0 Workshop in Aarhus, Denmark.
First Place for TYPO3’s Form Framework
In April this year, our first German TYPO3 agency partner TRITUM won the Thuringian Open Source Prize for their outstanding work on the TYPO3 Form Framework. The prize was awarded for the first time and underlines TRITUM’s status as pioneers within the TYPO3 community.
