Ric van Westhreenen is a strategic program manager in IAM, compliance, and AI governance, with 15+ years of experience in regulated enterprise environments. He is currently IAM Enablement Team Lead for the Dutch organisation of Royal Ahold Delhaize, driving a major IAM transformation program. Previously, he led the IAM program at Vattenfall and contributed to the enterprise IAM transformation at T-Mobile Netherlands. Ric is Prosci® Certified and completed the AIGP (AI Governance Professional) training in 2025. He serves on the Supervisory Board of TYPO3 GmbH, was Vice President of the TYPO3 Association from 2013 to 2020, and holds global responsibility for the TYPO3 trademark.

One of the goals of the TYPO3 Association is to safeguard our brand, TYPO3. We run an active program to advise community members about the usage of our brand, and take action when we see misuse of the trademark.

For 2015, the TYPO3 Association wants to revise the way we do community management. Therefore we are calling out a competition for concepts for community management. Our aim is to have an open application phase for concepts for community management.
TYPO3 Association seeks Executive Secretary
Each organisation renews itself after a while. The TYPO3 Association was born almost 10 years ago and a lot has changed. Not only the amount of people working with TYPO3, but also the way we foster the TYPO3 Community. Last year the Expert Advisory Board and the Board started out on a journey to look for ways to better our organisation, and to strengthen our vision for the future of the TYPO3 Association.
