The Content Rendering Group (CRG) appears to be less active lately; at least that's what Marc Wöhlken (author of Advanced HTML Cleaner ? qcom_htmlcleaner) believed. The last article in the CRG's TYPO3.org page was posted several months ago, so it's understandable that people have this impression. Marc's email reminded me to give all you good folks an update of what is going on... and things are going on!

Few people are aware of the TYPO3 IRC channel on freenode.net. Channel #typo3 is frequented by some very knowledgeable TYPO3 users and developers, and is an excellent resource for the TYPO3 community.

TYPO3 4.0 Beta 1

TYPO3 4.0 marks the fourth major release of TYPO3. It enhances and extends functionality and usability for TYPO3 users and developers. This beta release will allow us to spot bugs in the initial stages, and fix them before they have a chance to proliferate.
