SUMMARY:EU Open Source Policy Summit
DESCRIPTION:The EU Open Source Policy Summit 2027 brings together EU and na
 tional policymakers, Members of the European Parliament, industry represent
 atives, public sector experts, and open source professionals to discuss ope
 n source in EU policy. This edition focuses on implementing the EU Open Sou
 rce Strategy, with public procurement, funding and sustainability of the op
 en source ecosystem, and open hardware as priorities. The event takes place
  in Brussels, Belgium, alongside FOSDEM and can also be attended online.\n\
 nThe organizer, OpenForum Europe (OFE) is a not-for-profit, independent thi
 nk tank based in Brussels and registered as a Belgian international non-pro
 fit association. It explains the merits of openness in computing to policym
 akers and communities across Europe and works on open technologies and digi
 tal sovereignty.\n\nPublic procurement and the long-term sustainability of 
 open source projects are topics that directly affect TYPO3 as an open sourc
 e content management system used in the public sector. The summit offers an
  opportunity to exchange knowledge with policymakers and other open source 
 communities working on the regulatory framework for open source.\n\nTYPO3 i
 s joining this event as a bronze sponsor. TYPO3 Project Ambassador Mathias
