TYPO3 v14 Code Sprint
Right before the TYPO3 v14 feature freeze on 31 March, we’re welcoming contributors to join us in Rosenheim, Germany, to help finalize, polish, and build the features that will define the next major TYPO3 release. If you’re ready to help shape v14 at a crucial moment, this sprint is for you.
Nestled between the Bavarian Alps and the riverside district of Rosenheim’s Kunstmühle, the sprint location at in2code GmbH offers an inspiring blend of mountain atmosphere, creativity, and focused collaboration. The perfect backdrop to bring the final pieces of TYPO3 v14 together.
The Goal: Finalize TYPO3 v14 Before Feature Freeze
This sprint is dedicated to the features, APIs, and UX improvements already in development for v14. Unlike earlier sprints, we’ll focus on completing and refining existing work rather than exploring new concepts.
Expect deep work sessions around:
- UX and backend modernization
- Themes
- Integration & Exchange APIs
- Final implementation work on new v14 APIs
This is the moment to get things across the finish line.
Mentorship & Guidance
You’ll work directly with core developers like Benni Mack, Oli Bartsch, and Andreas Nedbal, who will provide guidance, architectural direction, reviews, and hands-on support to ensure contributions integrate cleanly into TYPO3 v14.
We’ll also run daily check-ins to stay aligned, surface blockers early, and keep momentum high throughout the week.

A Continuation of the v14 Journey
The recent TYPO3 v14 Feature Sprint in Geneva helped explore and validate the foundations for many v14 features. In Rosenheim, the focus shifts: it’s now about completing, refining, and preparing these features for the upcoming freeze.
Why Rosenheim?
Rosenheim is a small, lively Bavarian city framed by mountains and rivers, with the Kunstmühle district adding a creative, industrial flair. The setting is calm, inspiring, and perfect for deep collaborative work, with plenty of opportunities for fresh air and clear heads between coding sessions.

This sprint is limited to 16 places, if you want to help shape the final version of TYPO3 v14, secure your spot now. We’re excited to build, refine, and complete v14 together and we can’t wait to welcome you to Rosenheim for an intense, inspiring week of collaboration.
