DESCRIPTION:The Transform Africa Summit describes itself as Africa’s leadin
 g annual forum for collaboration on new ways of shaping, accelerating and s
 ustaining Africa’s ongoing digital revolution. The event caters to global a
 nd regional leaders from government, business and international organizatio
 ns.\n\nThe summit is organized by Smart Africa, an alliance formed around t
 he Smart Africa Manifesto, a commitment to provide leadership in accelerati
 ng socio-economic development through ICT. The manifesto has been endorsed 
 by all heads of state and governments in the African Union.\n\nFor TYPO3, t
 his event is a great opportunity to strengthen existing collaboration with 
 governments in Africa and create interest and engagement around the TYPO3 C
 ommunity Expansion Committee's work in the Global South. With knowledge tra
 nsfer, using our democratic and not-for-profit open-source CMS as a basis, 
 we can foster local sustainable and independent business. Our vehicle is pr
 ojects with government websites and digital governance, as exemplified by o
 ur project for Open Source Standardization of Government Websites in Rwanda
  and recent project with the Government of Somalia.\n\nTYPO3 will be presen
 t represented by TYPO3 Project Ambassador Mathias Bolt Lesniak and TYPO3 Co
 mmunity Expansion Committee Lead Daniel Homorodean.
