Vote Now! Budget Ideas for Round Three 2026 Have Been Published
The call for community budget ideas for the third round of 2026 was successful: Four community and two team ideas have made it to the poll. These ideas can now be discussed and TYPO3 Association members can cast their vote.
In 2024, we launched the community budget process with a call for budget ideas. The new ideas are now published at talk.typo3.org, where you can review and discuss them.
In quarter three of 2025 we started looking for contributions that align with the high-level objectives for TYPO3 v14.
As part of the third round of the ideas process, members can cast direct votes for their two favorite ideas in each category.
- Voting rights: Each Association member receives two votes for community ideas and two votes for team ideas (four votes in total), which can be allocated to the two preferred ideas in each category.
As a part of the democratic processes of the TYPO3 Association, an email with a voting link has been sent to all members. The two community and two team ideas with the most votes will be granted their share of this round’s idea budget. The member poll is open until 24 August 2026.
The final results will be published by the end of August, so the winners can start their work on 1 September 2026. To receive the money, they must complete their work on or before 30 November 2026.
