TYPO3 8.7.11 and 7.6.25 released

Regression: Login Issues with Firefox

There is a known login issue with Mozilla Firefox in the release packages mentioned further down that prevents login under some circumstances. To circumvent these problems, login with a different browser or by using the following sequence: Enter Username, press <TAB>, Enter Password, press <ENTER> - for more information see https://forge.typo3.org/issues/84253 

We are announcing the release of the following TYPO3 updates:

• TYPO3 8.7.11 LTS
• TYPO3 7.6.25 LTS

All versions are maintenance releases and contain bug fixes only. Besides that several regression fixes and important changes have been included into the v8.7.11 package - please see the following documentation of these changes:

• Fluid - Do not append slash to empty paths (#367)
• Fluid - Fix Countable- and multibyte support in conditions (#380)
• Breaking: #82093 - EXT:form Partials/Field/Field.html has changed
• Feature: #81654 - Adding novalidate Attribute to Fluid Form ViewHelper
• Important: #83768 - Remove referrer check
• Important: #83971 - Browser Notification API only works on SSL encrypted connections
• Important: #84144 - RootlineUtility is enriching only properly selected relational database fields
