At the beginning of 2013 the Expert Advisory Board decided about the budget and gave an explanation about the allocation of the budgets for 2013. The budget allocation for the Neos project was re-discussed after initially being rejected by the team. A solution was found by allocating budget to work-packages that will drive the development of TYPO3 Neos.
T3BOARD 2013: About Sessions, Snow and Boarding
For the past week some 70 TYPO3 enthusiasts met in Zell am See in Austria for the TYPO3 Snowboard tour. On the 2000 meter high Schmittenhöhe there was plenty of snow accompanied by some exciting presentations. Jan Christe of T3N magazine gives some insights into the community event.
Neos Codesprint February 2013
For almost a whole week the Neos core team met in Lübeck for planning the next steps toward the 1.0 release of Neos and implementing some features right away. With, at times, 17 people, this was an intensive sprint with some great results.

It has been discovered that the extension "Static Info Tables" (static_info_tables) is vulnerable to Cross-Site Scripting.
TYPO3-EXT-SA-2013-003: SQL Injection vulnerability in extension CoolURI (cooluri)
It has been discovered that the extension "CoolURI" (cooluri) is vulnerable to SQL Injection.
ECS13DUS - The Extbase team is bringing it on again
The first code sprint of the TYPO3 CMS project for this year took place last weekend in Duisburg and was hosted by the friendly folks of Rheinschafe GmbH. The Extbase Team met, discussed, worked on issues and got rid of lots of gremlins in that weekend. The timing of tis code sprint leaves enough time to initiate and finalise topics prior to the feature freeze of TYPO3 CMS 6.1 end of March 2013.
