SQL Injection in extension "Another simple gallery" (chgallery)
It has been discovered that the extension "Another simple gallery" (chgallery) is susceptible to SQL Injection.

Component Type: Third party extension. This extension is not a part of the TYPO3 default installation.
Affected Versions: version 2.5.3 and below

Problem Description: Failing to properly sanitize user-supplied input, the extension is vulnerable to SQL Injection. A valid backend login with permission to access the plugin settings is required to exploit this vulnerability.
Solution: An updated version 2.5.4 is available from the TYPO3 Extension Manager and at https://typo3.org/extensions/repository/download/chgallery/2.5.4/t3x/. Users of the extension are advised to update the extension as soon as possible.
