TYPO3 Awards 2025: Nominees Announced Ahead of Düsseldorf Gala

Discover the 2025 TYPO3 Awards nominees across 17 categories. Join us in Düsseldorf on November 27 for the gala celebrating the year’s top TYPO3 projects.

Back in August, a curious request reached us through our support system. A company that had once won the TYPO3 Award asked whether they were still allowed to use the TYPO3 Award Winner logo – even though their victory dated back nine years. We won’t reveal the company’s name or which category they won, but the fact that they reached out after nearly a decade means a lot to us. For them, winning back in 2016 is still a valuable part of their story, and for us, it’s proof of how much weight a TYPO3 Award carries as a lasting badge of excellence.

The Shortlist Is Here

This year marks the third edition of the TYPO3 Awards since their return after the pandemic, and we’re pleased to announce that a remarkable 127 submissions came in from 53 agencies. 51 of those projects have made the shortlist across 17 categories.

First Round of Evaluation – What Happens Next

Our panel of expert jurors has received the list of nominated projects that made it through the first round of evaluation, with a focus on speed and performance, design and UX, content and user flows, SEO, and accessibility. We want to take this opportunity to thank our colleagues at the TYPO3 Company for their dedication and involvement in this first round of evaluation and for being part of this year’s awards in such a meaningful way.

Now it’s time for our jury to determine who will stand out among the competition in each category. They’ll bring their expertise, human perspective, and professional insight to the judging process. Among the category winners, they’ll also decide which project will be named the coveted TYPO3 Website of the Year. All winners – including those for Best TYPO3 Extension and Best TYPO3 Camp – will be revealed at the TYPO3 Awards Gala on 27 November 2025.
